FAQ

Do I need an account to use WatchQueue?

No. WatchQueue works the moment you open it — your watchlist syncs across your devices through your own iCloud. Connecting Trakt or Plex is completely optional.

Where-to-watch shows the wrong services or none at all.

Streaming availability is region-specific. Open Settings and make sure your Region is set correctly, then select the streaming services you subscribe to so WatchQueue can surface them first.

How do I bring in shows I've already watched?

Connect Trakt in Settings. WatchQueue signs you in securely through Trakt and pulls in your existing history, so Watch Next picks up exactly where you left off.

How do I see what I already own?

Connect Plex in Settings. WatchQueue marks titles in your Plex library right on the posters and lets you open them in Plex or Infuse. You can choose your default player and toggle Plex badges on posters in Settings.

What is "Watch Next" and how does it sort?

Watch Next gathers every series you have in progress and surfaces the next unwatched episode. Sort by Recently watched, Fewest left, Most left, or Shuffle — and use Abandoned to round up shows you started but never finished.

Tapping a streaming service doesn't open the app.

WatchQueue launches the provider's app via its deep link. Make sure that streaming app is installed and signed in on your Apple TV. If it isn't installed, tvOS will offer to get it from the App Store.

The app crashed or something went wrong.

Email support with a description of what happened, the title or screen you were on, and your tvOS version. Screenshots or a screen recording are always helpful.
